yard sale, $4 total. everything in nice condition, which is refreshing considering every other disc based game I've found in the past year is usually scratched to hell and back.

this was good. ]]>

craigslist. everything works fine save for the solid black controller having a questionable right stick, barely any scratches on the games, and strider 2's case is messed up but the discs and manual/label art are fine. $57 total (would've been $55, but the guy only had 3 bucks change instead of 5, but i'm not gonna argue).

really went in for this bundle solely for strider 2. marvel was a nice addition, as well the clear ps2 controller. keeping those, as well as god of war II and the ps2 system, and will later probably trade the rest at my local retro store.

this was nice. ]]>

in any case, I went to a community sale way on the outskirts of town in hopes of snagging some N64 games because one of the houses posted a pick of a nice N64 lot, but they didn't mention if they were selling together or individually or at least willing to part some of it...doesn't matter now, I showed up and unfortunately they were selling as a lot for $250. didn't want to argue or bother so I headed to the other houses and hit pay dirt at one of them:

everything's in beautiful condition, posters attached and everything, castlevania II looked like it had been well kept save for the dust on the top of the cart.
$24 total, 3 for castelvania, 5 each for Mario mania and Gameboy player's guide, and a dollar each for the rest. he had plenty more mags and plenty more games, but I had other houses to check out, i'm on a budget, and while he had some great games for sale at some decent prices, they either were stuff I already had or stuff that are not uncommon.

so that's good. ]]>

yard sale, $25. everything but fifa and crash were in good condition, those 2 were scratched to hell.

keeping shaolin monks, the memory card and the component cables.
traded all the working games and the madcatz controller and one of the gamestop controllers for store credit, making a little over what I had paid for everything, and i'm hanging onto the system and one controller for a later trade once I find cheap A/V cables for it.

so that's cool. ]]>

they're all at varying levels of jank but no more so than what they already were when I packed them away. ]]>

anyways, found a couple of xbox and wii games last weekend, but didn't bother to snap a pic of them and I've since traded for some store credit. Mario super sluggers, link's crossbow training, mechassault, and project gotham racing 2. about $11 total.

this week, I snagged some things I felt were actually interesting to take a picture:

each game was a dollar, the vhs tape was 50 cents.
interested to see what blinx 1 and 2 are like, been looking for a cheap, working copy of san andreas for a while (although it does need a little resurfacing), I hear COD games on DS still have decent trade value, and the tape I thought was neat to pick up. ]]>
