Back when I played this game for TG, I built my own list using the similar one from the arcade version as a roadmap.

The key is the bonus potion. It takes a long time to fall 50 times, but it can be done infinitely, even when chased by the invincible guy during "Hurry Up" mode. Getting the 100k bonus every few levels will dramatically increase your scores!

It's a bit boring though. Prepare to double the length of a run. Wish it was 15 falls like the arcade version! ]]>

You know the item drops in this game aren't actually random? For example, blow a bunch of bubbles and get the candy. Collect a bunch of letters and get the cane. Kill a bunch of enemies with the blue bubbles and get the cross that fills the screen with water. There's a requirement like that for every power up.

Wow. How did you find that out?

I always get very similar item drops each run but I do things almost exactly the same every time.

There's a list on Gamefaqs. I think that it's mostly accurate. Except I only ever got the blue book after collecting a number of power ups.

That is interesting I will have to try it. If it works that could help a lot.

My son was born on Wednesday so I got to do about 20 runs between Friday and Sunday. I didn't look up an actual strat until the last 5 or so runs. I kept losing a life early on by some dumb mistake and being over aggressive.

edit: I did a few before the birth as well
Congratulations! Welcome to the dad club! Awesome.

Re: Skinny - That's about how I did. It took my first day to get comfortable to 30. After that I used the codes to practice between 30-57. Then just went for high score. I'm sure you probably just had to put more time in.

I think that first level bonus carried over from something you did on the previous run. I had some scoring starts from the last time we played. I want to say I made it to the 50ish stages last time. i was starting to consistently get around 900k the last few runs.

I have no idea how to trigger the bonus. I feel like it’s random. If you get all the cookies it’s an extra 100k.

You did great this week! Congrats. Top three.
