I'm already a variant collector, but I'd rather not have everyone ship me their dupes -- I'd have no place to put them all right now, much less my own piles of crap! You should see my room now... I can barely walk in it.

Same problem I have . I once thought of opening an eBay store of my own, but I've heard too many mixed reviews, and I only sell on eBay when I have some scarce or rare items to list. I very nearly listed my spare Flintstones 2 (which I eventually sold to antofarabia), just to see what turned up...it would've been a $9.99 starting bid, no reserve, and no BIN. But this I will say: for rarer/pricier NES stuff (possibly also SNES and N64), this will be the site on which I do my listing. ]]>

Sorry Dain , although if you become a variant collector, that would be heaven.

A dollar in the future is potential, but a dollar now is earned. Sell your games Jared, there'll be more.

That's deep. ]]>

I was just starting to gear-up for an eBay store opening in October....maybe I should reconsider.

I wouldn't make any decisions based on NA -- if you want to open a store, I'd go ahead and do it. In other words, the storefront is going to be very beta at first. ]]>

Only problem is, unless we attract a steady stream of dilettantes and moms, there'll be few people to buy the vast majority of loose commons. And these are the least profitable carts to resell on the Bay. So this is the conundrum, no?

Yes and no -- what you guys may not realize is that I have intentionally stopped all BOTs from combing NintendoAge (robots.txt). I did this early on because they tax the server; however, once the update happens, that restriction will be removed and Google, Yahoo, Altavista, et al will start indexing NA. With this indexing, we can leverage this site as a marketplace. In time, people will find it and even buy the common games. ]]>
