An advantage to console games over PC used to be that you knew they would work without a fuss. I guess they're the same as a PC now. Its funny because I saw a forum with someone having a similar issue to mine on the PC version.

Did that, still no deal. Seems like this is a semi-widespread issue as I have found several forums on other sites regarding this. Noone seems to have a definitive answer for a fix though. The next thing it looks like I will need to try is turning on the Wifi. From what I can gather there is some conflict between this game and the MiiVerse, so disconecting solved the issue for some, but not all.

Pretty weird.

might be a damaged disc from resurfacing. gamestop and amazon warehouse have screwed up alot of discs by buffing them as they were a blu ray and ruining them

I changed my miiverse language to english only like some other forums have said, but that didnt work.
