No, WATA recognized it as fake. I sent it back to the guy as a return, he acknowledged it and agreed it was probably a fake, and then turned around and auctioned it off as a legit seal. It’s in an RGA case, which is what I bought it in originally.

Also, it’s not even a re-seal, it’s completely fake. The cardboard artwork is printed and was cut unevenly, you can see on the top left on the back. Quite an operation RGA runs.

I read it as he had it shipped directly to Wata who then informed him it was fake. Now I'm curious, too.
Oh you know what you might be right. When I saw the auction and I saw the case thats what I thought. But the Sonic 3 has a VGA grade

It has an "RGA" grade. The site listed on the label on the back lists a website "rgagrading.com" that doesn't actually even exist (any more, anyway)...

EDIT: Did a quick google and hey-ho, a thread from here on NA 1.5 years ago: http://nintendoage.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=5&threadid=176531

And here's a Super C with no H seam. Feedback has one prior re-seal, though mostly positive:

Report them, if you can, especially that Sonic 3 before someone pays today. My bad for not getting this posted sooner. ]]>
