I am in a simialr situation, I have always been more interested in collecting but I rarely ever play. I am just not getting the enjoyment out of it that I would like to when I consider its value. I have a record collection that I get a ton of milage out of. I feel like games will be similar. 
 


yeah so I played MTG online for a bit. Then I realised how expensive it was, and all I was getting was imaginary cards. I'm glad I made the switch to games.
