Changed my user name to JBOGames today. Why? Several reasons really. I created my old user name (DragonLunch) hastily, as I needed a gaming related one for this website. I was never really happy with it. Also I want to start reselling, to grow my collection, and the name I had didn't fit well for a seller on Ebay. The biggest reason though, is my best friend Josh. We were friends since kindergarten. I grew up playing games with him, and we kept on playing classic 8-bit and 16-bit games well into the 2000's. I dont think either one of us really realized we were retro gamers. We just played the games we thought were fun. We still played new games, but we never put down the oldies. He died June 6th, 2006. I wanted to commemorate him in my user name. He was the person who had the single biggest impact in my life. We shared all our interests growing up, from Star Wars, to Ninja Turtles, to NES, and much more. When he passed, I didn't feel affected by it, upset, or sad. As I look back now though, I seem to have become more and more involved in, and wanting to surround myself with stuff we shared together. I want to hang on to our memories and our childhood. Back when we played old RPGs, he would always name his character "JoshBo". So thats where my new name is comming from. Hope no one is confused. You can still call me DragonLunch, or Tim, or Patrick. Doesnt matter to me.
